Viking Rubber Extreme Access Windproof Hi Vis Waterproof Trousers – 122025-120 – Part of the Experience Set

These breathable windproof, hi vis waterproof trousers are one half of simply the best product we have for sale on our site and it’s unlike anything else on the market!

Designed specially for the wind industry these breathable windproof, hi vis waterproof trousers are perfect for those of you who climb during the course of your work.

It is intended that these waterproof hi vis trousers are worn in conjunction with the Viking Rubber Extreme Access Windproof Hi Vis Waterproof Jacket – 111084-120 and when worn together the combination is classified as EN471 Class 3.

While each product is fantastic in their own right, they really work best when they are combined. There is a zipper on the bottom of the jacket at the back which connects to a zipper at the top of the trousers on the back. Zipping them together makes it into more of a suit and helps stop the jacket riding up your back and also protect you from wind going up inside the back of the jacket.

If you buy these Hi Vis Waterproof Trousers with the matching jacket you won’t be disappointed, but please bear in mind if purchasing separately the jacket is shorter than normal.

Description

Features of these hi vis waterproof trousers

These hi vis waterproof trousers have been designed for working at height, therefore they have been constructed to be hard wearing and windproof, offering great comfort and functionality with pre-shaped legs, elastic ankle cuffs and hi visibility tape which has been glued on in small segments to allow the garments to flex with your movement.

2 pockets have been placed at the lower part of the legs to avoid pressure marking and to allow access when kneeling and climbing.

Other great features of these hi vis waterproof trousers are 2 zipped side pockets, 2 zipped thigh pockets with D rings for the attachment of tools, adjustable knee pad pockets with Cordura® reinforcement, leg zipper to allow access with boots, Cordura® reinforcement on the lower legs and an elasticated hook to connect into your boots to prevent the ankles from riding up.

On the accompanying hi vis waterproof jacket the side pockets have also been relocated to the chest area as most of the time wearers will also be using a safety harness and this allows access to the pockets rather than being covered by the harness. The jacket is also shorter than normal to allow more freedom of movement and offer better compatibility with fall arrest equipment.

Unlike the jacket which is best worn with the trousers due to it’s shorter than normal length, these trousers can be worn on their own or with any jacket due to their high waist and detachable braces which prevent the age old problem of water running off the back of a jacket inside the trousers.

About Viking Rubber

“It will always rain, so proper rainwear is needed” – Aage Holger Rasmussen

Established in 1935 by Aage Holger Rasmussen and Hans Frederik Ejnar Rasmussen when the brothers saw their chance to create something new and change the world through the new rubberized textile that emerged in the 1930s. They realized that their reputation had to be good, and therefore the quality had to be the best, so Viking Rubber Company was born.

In 1965 Aage Holger decided to buy his brother out of the company and in 1975 Svend Aage Andersen, a sailor, real estate broker and stockbroker from Odense, drove to Faaborg to buy a windmill. On his way down to Faaborg his friend mentioned, that there was a rainwear factory in town, that they could look at. Svend Aage, who had been at sea since the age of 13, could not resist! He drove to the company and saw its potential;
