Viking Rubber Extreme Access Windproof Hi Vis Waterproof Jacket – 111084-120 – Part of the Experience Set

This breathable windproof, hi vis waterproof jacket is one half of simply the best product we have for sale on our site and it’s unlike anything else on the market!

Designed specially for the wind industry this breathable windproof, hi vis waterproof jacket is perfect for those of you who climb during the course of your work.

It is intended that this workwear jacket is worn in conjunction with the Viking Rubber Extreme Access Windproof Hi Vis Waterproof Trousers – 122025-120 and when worn together the combination is classified as EN471 Class 3.

While each product is fantastic in their own right, they really work best when they are combined. There is a zipper on the bottom of the jacket at the back which connects to a zipper at the top of the trousers on the back. Zipping them together makes it into more of a suit and helps stop the jacket riding up your back and also protect you from wind going up inside the back of the jacket.

If you buy this Hi Vis Waterproof Jacket with the matching trousers you won’t be disappointed, but please bear in mind if purchasing separately the jacket is shorter than normal.

Description

Features of this hi vis waterproof jacket

As these garments are designed for working at height they have been constructed to be hard wearing, breathable, windproof and waterproof, offering great comfort and functionality with pre-shaped sleeves, elastic cuffs and hi visibility tape which has been glued on in small segments to allow the garments to flex with your movement.

The side pockets have also been relocated to the chest area as most of the time wearers will also be using a safety harness and this allows access to the pockets rather than being covered by the harness. The jacket is also shorter than normal to allow more freedom of movement and offer better compatibility with fall arrest equipment.

Some other great features of this hi vis waterproof jacket are a double storm flap with full length Velcro closure to protect the zip from water ingress, adjustable hood, sleeve pockets, microphone holder, Cordura reinforcement on the elbows, internal elasticated storm cuffs, Velcro secured pockets with D rings inside and also just up from the wrists for the attachment of tools.

About Viking Rubber

“It will always rain, so proper rainwear is needed” – Aage Holger Rasmussen

Established in 1935 by Aage Holger Rasmussen and Hans Frederik Ejnar Rasmussen when the brothers saw their chance to create something new and change the world through the new rubberized textile that emerged in the 1930s. They realized that their reputation had to be good, and therefore the quality had to be the best, so Viking Rubber Company was born.

In 1965 Aage Holger decided to buy his brother out of the company and in 1975 Svend Aage Andersen, a sailor, real estate broker and stockbroker from Odense, drove to Faaborg to buy a windmill. On his way down to Faaborg his friend mentioned, that there was a rainwear factory in town, that they could look at. Svend Aage, who had been at sea since the age of 13, could not resist!

He drove to the company and saw its potential;
